The community at Immersion is serious about reaching out, not just to the Lost, but to the poor. We read in the Bible that God has a place in His heart for the poor, the needy and the oppressed. We give as a community to local organizations that minister among the poor. Following are some of those ministries that we not only give to but long to interface with as a community. We don't believe our job is to only give monetarily, but also of our time and emotional commitment.

Our White Mountain community has a unique opportunity to reach the most overlooked people group within the borders of U.S. soil: Native America. We long to focus much of our outreaching and financial commitment to ministering to the generational poverty in Native America by partnering with organizations who are investing in breaking the cycle of Hopelessness on reservations.

Join us in giving to the poor

Apache Youth Ministries
The purpose of AYM is: “Empowering Apache Youth To Impact The World” They mentor Apache youth by modeling Jesus to them.  AYM fosters each individual to rely on God while practicing social sovereignty.  They live day by day with the Apache sharing personal and community experiences, both good and bad.  They realize their purpose by empowering Apache youth in two key areas: 1) Developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible study, small groups, and personal and corporate worship, and 2) Building productive lives through a range of practical offerings in education, skills development, and hands-on application of positive personal character and solid business practices. Hope in Transit
Hope In Transit was formed as a means to live the love of Jesus Christ to Native America. Using music and arts as a vehicle, Hope In Transit seeks to minister to spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs at individual, organizational, and community levels.

Hope In Transit’s primary program is a traveling music school that travels in a monthly cycle to three locations on the Navajo and White Mountain Apache reservations. They spend one week per month at each location. They teach bass, drums, keyboard, and guitar at each location. The Traveling Music School seeks to provide a healthy pastime to young people who are often in a position to choose between dangerous and self-destructive or healthy and productive behavioral patterns. Spur Ministries: Hogans for Humanity
Spur Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization that is dedicated to introducing Native Americans to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and then to train them up to reach their generation. The director is working to start a new program "Hogans of Humanity", which (like Habitat for Humanity) will be a resource in improving the living situation for Native Americans on the reservations.
