Prayer, worship, and ministering mercy

We have a passion to build a network of many different expressions within the prayer movement. From the International House of Prayer to Boiler Rooms to localized church body expressions, our desire is to experience the expressions that take place when the Body of Christ abandons to its Head, Jesus. Central to our lens of the prayer movement is the value of ministering from that place of intimacy: praying for justice, and being instruments for God to use us in that capacity. Because of that, we emphasize the organic connection between intimacy with God and outreach.


Harp & Bowl Workshops

Harp & Bowl worship is a useful tool to engage large groups in sustained corporate prayer. While serving at the International House of Prayer in Atlanta for 3 years, Joel taught some of the mission base's weekend Harp & Bowl seminars, and he and Marissa have a good handle on not only doing Harp & Bowl, but teaching others.

Worship Leading & Speaking

Joel leads worship (usually with Marissa) and has spoken on topics such as: Enjoyable Prayer, Soaking Worship, Ministry to the Forgotten Ones, The Grace & Mercy of God, and The Power of Joy.
